VEGA demonstrates latest Security, Resilience and Battlespace
capabilities at DSEi
9 September 2009 – VEGA Consulting Services Ltd (VEGA), a
Finmeccanica company, is demonstrating some of its latest Security,
Resilience and Battlespace capabilities to address the new and
evolving threats posed in the 21st century, at DSEi 2009.
As governments around the world develop national security
strategies to protect society against an increasingly wide range of
threats, risks and instabilities, Finmeccanica and its subsidiary

- Digital Forensic
Solutions – VEGA and Dell have come together to
develop a scalable and secure solution for UK Police forensic
laboratories, comprising commercial off the shelf equipment, that
helps meet the increasingly demanding digital forensics challenge
of each Police force. This includes simplifying the entire process,
improving the efficiency of sharing and administering data across
analyst teams, and supporting strict, evidence-handling
guidelines.
- Enterprise
Architecture – Through Life Capability Management
requires every aspect of new and existing military capability to be
planned and managed coherently across all Defence Lines of
Development. VEGA’s independent expertise, best practice techniques
and choice of commercial off the shelf tools, enables it to help
organisations define their future capability requirements by
capturing and analysing the complex interactions taking place
across their business.
DSEi is one of the world’s largest defence and security
exhibitions and conferences, and takes place at Excel in London
