IA11 is the 6th annual CESG-sponsored information assurance conference and exhibition, themed around "Protecting the UK in Cyberspace".

VEGA contributed to this event as part of Finmeccanica Cyber Solutions. As Finmeccanica Cyber Solutions we can offer information assurance solutions, comprising capability from across the Finmeccanica group, that help meet our clients ever-changing cyber security challenges.

A team of Finmeccanica Cyber Solutions information assurance experts presented a workshop entitled “Designing, Implementing and Maintaining a Security Operations Centre (SOC)”. The workshop illustrated the benefits a SOC can bring to an organisation with respect to its programme of information assurance governance. Members of the Finmeccanica Cyber Solutions team discussed the design, implementation and evolution of a SOC, including the technological complexities that can challenge even the most experienced information assurance specialist.
