International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)

INCOSE UK Advisory Board (UKAB)

VEGA is a member of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) UK Advisory Board (UKAB). INCOSE has an influential role on systems engineering policy in the UK, and more generally in the EU and internationally, and provides VEGA with advanced visibility of policy direction and the opportunity to shape its future.

Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) Corporate Partnership

The RAeS Corporate Partner scheme is the primary international forum for the exchange of ideas within the Aerospace sector. Being a member signifies VEGA's commitment to best practice in the international aerospace community.

Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA)

VEGA is a member of AFCEA, the organisation for Command and Control, Electronics, Communication and Intelligence professionals. AFCEA serves its members by providing a forum for the ethical exchange of information. It is dedicated to increasing knowledge through the exploration of issues relevant to its members. It provides networking with other influential suppliers to UK defence, homeland security, intelligence, and civilian government organisations responsible for communications and information systems.

A|D|S - 'Advancing UK Aerospace, Defence and Security industries'

VEGA is a member of A|D|S, the trade association that was launched on 1 October 2009, following the merger between the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS), the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) and the Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA). Its mission is to advance the UK Aerospace (Civil Aviation and Space), Defence and Security industries, working with its members to address the issues and progress opportunities that will deliver business growth.

Intellect

As a listed member of Intellect, the trade body for the UK-based information technology, telecommunications and electronics industry, VEGA representatives have been nominated by Intellect members to contribute to the management committees for a variety of working groups from across Intellect's focussed market sectors.

The UK Security and Resilience Industry Suppliers Council (RISC)

VEGA represents UK industry on RISC through its role as a committee member of the Intellect Security & Resilience Working Group. RISC is an alliance of suppliers, trade associations and academics that provides a single industry voice and channel of communication for UK Government on strategic issues affecting national security and resilience.

UKspace

VEGA is an active member of UKspace, the trade association of the British space industry. Between September 2006 and September 2008, VEGA’s Aerospace Business Development Director, John Auburn, chaired UKspace, which represents over 75 per cent of the UK space industry by both turnover and people employed. UKspace is sponsored jointly by SBAC and Intellect.
