VEGA, as part of its wider Finmeccanica corporate
membership, is a corporate member and highly active supporter of
the Royal United Services Institute, notably
in developing the discussion on the Government's understanding

A|D|S - 'Advancing UK Aerospace, Defence and Security
industries'
VEGA is a member of A|D|S, the trade association that was
launched on 1 October 2009, following the merger between the
Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS), the
Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) and the Defence
Manufacturers Association (DMA). Its mission is to advance the UK
Aerospace (Civil Aviation and Space), Defence and Security
industries, working with its members to address the issues and
progress opportunities that will deliver business growth.

Intellect
As a listed member
of Intellect, the trade body for the UK-based information
technology, telecommunications and electronics industry, VEGA
representatives have been nominated by Intellect members to
contribute to the management committees for a variety of working
groups from across Intellect's focussed market sectors.

International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)

INCOSE UK Advisory Board
(UKAB)
VEGA is a member of the International Council on Systems
Engineering (INCOSE) UK Advisory Board (UKAB). INCOSE has an
influential role on systems engineering policy in the UK, and more
generally in the EU and internationally, and provides VEGA with
advanced visibility of policy direction and the opportunity to

Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association
(AFCEA)
VEGA is a member of
AFCEA, the organisation for Command and Control, Electronics,
Communication and Intelligence professionals. AFCEA serves its
members by providing a forum for the ethical exchange of
information. It is dedicated to increasing knowledge through the
exploration of issues relevant to its members. It provides
networking with other influential suppliers to UK defence, homeland
security, intelligence, and civilian government organisations

Defence Matters
As a
Finmeccanica company, VEGA is a strong supporter of Defence Matters
– an organisation sponsored by
the Defence Industries Council (DIC) which is the senior trade body
for the defence sector in the UK. Defence Matters
seeks to raise awareness and
understanding of the DIC's work in supporting UK armed forces
and the wider contribution we make to the nation and economy.
