History
Since its foundation in 1978, VEGA has built a formidable
history of assuring information in technically and organisationally
challenging environments. Founded by a small group
of engineers at the European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt,
Germany, VEGA quickly developed a reputation for success in
safety-critical scenarios.
During the past three decades, as VEGA has grown, the range of
specialist consulting services has increased, and we found exciting
opportunities where organisations faced technologically
sophisticated, people-dependent, business-critical challenges, and
we diversified successfully into both the Defence and Government
markets.
Over time, VEGA has evolved a unique approach, based on our
in-depth experience of client domains, that assures client value is
at the heart of business change and management, delivering
exceptional levels of client results.
On 14 February 2008, VEGA was delisted as a Public Limited
Company from the London Stock Exchange, following its acquisition
by Finmeccanica SpA ("Finmeccanica").
Today, VEGA employs nearly 200 highly-skilled people working
in Defence, Security, Civil Government, and
Transport, delivering specialist services to clients throughout the
UK.
